Caroline Woodruff has worked in radio, television, theatre and films during a career that spans over 30 years.
TELEVISION
On television Caroline created the role of Madeleine Short in EMMERDALE, and has featured in CORONATION STREET, COLD FEET, DANGERFIELD and A TOUCH OF FROST with David Jason, and ITV thriller THE STEPFATHER with Philip Glenister.
BROADCASTING
As a producer and presenter, Caroline worked for BBC Radio and had projects submitted for the Sony Radio Awards. As a broadcaster she was BBC staff for nearly ten years. Nowadays she can be heard online presenting a classic rock show OVERDRIVE for Radio2XS.
THEATRE
In theatre she has toured nationally and worked at many respected UK theatres including Sheffield Crucible, Liverpool Playhouse, English Touring Theatre, and West Yorkshire Playhouse plus many others. She has also toured schools’ projects with companies such as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
VOICE ARTIST
She has her own ISDN broadcast quality studio and regularly works for media production companies in the UK and abroad providing voice over for corporate audio visual presentations, web presentations, radio and TV advertisements and over-dub recordings from foreign language to English for television documentaries produced for BBC TV and Discovery Channel.
